Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of principles related to child & adolescent development, treatment theory, therapeutic techniques and processes, including group counseling dynamics and techniques

Essential Functioning-Responsibilities
Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to clients.
Assess client and family needs, determine ongoing treatment progress, and use appropriate clinical service delivery to support client functioning and quality of life.
Maintain functional knowledge of DSM-5-TR, differential diagnosis, treatment theory, therapeutic techniques, group counseling dynamics, child and adolescent development, Medicaid/Medicare or other payer documentation requirements, and client rights and responsibilities.
Build and maintain the required caseload: 24 or more billable hours per week for full-time employees, or another written standard approved by The Company.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, billing support, service notes, file updates, quality assurance responses, and payer-required materials.
Attend required meetings, trainings, supervision, evaluations, and reviews, including 3-month, 6-month, and annual reviews when applicable.
Maintain required licensure, credentials, liability insurance, NPI/CAQH information, training records, and professional standards.
Complete onboarding and training requirements, including orientation, mandatory reporter training, documentation/risk management training, and cultural competency training.
Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, collaborate with staff, and establish appropriate relationships with networks, communities, schools, and agencies.
Practice cultural sensitivity and cultural humility when working with diverse populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.
Adhere to The Company policies and procedures, HIPAA, ethical codes, professional decision-
making processes, mandatory reporting requirements, and all applicable laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
Must hold a Master’s degree in a field of study eligible for mental health licensure
Must hold an active, Colorado DORA-issued, independent or candidate mental health license such as, but not limited to: Social Work (SWC, LSW, LCSW), Mental Health Counselor (LPCC, LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFTC, LMFT)
