Available Trainings

LGBTQ Ally Training
  • This is a 4-hour training that can be completed in a single session or 2 2-hour sessions. It is designed to introduce the basics of LGBTQ identities and vocabulary, challenge biases and examine power, privilege, and oppression, and teach about creating an inviting space to minimize potential harm to LGBTQ folks. Participants that complete the training may sign a values statement and in return will receive a placard that can be displayed in their workspace to publicly identify that they have completed an ally training. This is a foundational training that is open to any individual or organization. 

    • Cost: Training starts at $19 per person for a minimum of 10 people. Discounts may be available for additional participants. Ask about organization rates.

LGBTQ Competency Training for Mental Health Professionals
  • This training builds on basic knowledge of LGBTQ+ identities and issues, and is centered around the work of the mental health professional. Participants will learn about common issues, best practices, and interventions. This training will also prepare participants to be able to conduct assessments and provide letters of support for transgender and non-binary clients seeking medical transition. Participants will be asked to think critically about their identities, biases, and values and participants are encouraged to allow themselves to be open to challenging thoughts.

    • Cost: Training starts at $80 per person for a minimum of 5 people. Discounts may be available for additional participants. Ask about organization rates.
